This building was a major renovation located in the heart of Downtown Anchorage. The original building served as a shelter for Anchorage’s homeless youth. After a new shelter was constructed, the building sat vacant for a period of time. KPB Architects worked with the developer and client to create a new social destination for downtown.  The building received a major upgrade both exterior and interior as well as new systems. The building includes a mix of venues including a coffee shop, restaurant, bar and event space on the ground floor.  The 2nd floor includes seating and an additional bar. The roof top deck over looks town square and is a popular destination during the long summer nights. The interior was designed with a pallet of mixed materials while exposing the structure and concrete of the building.
